Our cashew cheese has the consistency of a soft kind of cheese, the taste is mild and nutty, although there is not too much cashew taste. It is not fermented and lasts for about one week after you open it. You can heat it in a sauce pan and make cashew cheese sauce, which can be used as a dip as well. This cheese does not melt like dairy cheeses do, but when heated it does get a softer consistency, making it great for pizza and pastas. It contains few ingredients and the nutritients come mainly from the cashews; B vitamins, specially niacin (B3) which is good for cognitive function and liver processes.
